Planning an adventure through Africa’s breathtaking landscapes? Before you embark on your journey with us at Breathe Africa Travel, it’s essential to familiarize yourself with our Terms & Conditions. These guidelines ensure that your trip is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, while also prioritizing safety and preparedness.
Booking and Payment: Our services are subject to availability upon booking confirmation. It’s crucial to note that all relevant booking conditions apply to your travel arrangements. To secure your spot, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit, along with full payment for flights and transfers. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your departure date.
Insurance Requirements: For your safety and peace of mind, we insist that all guests have comprehensive medical, travel, cancellation, curtailment, and default insurance throughout their trip. Given the remote regions you’ll explore, it’s imperative to be covered for emergencies and unforeseen events. Breathe Africa Travel cannot be held responsible for any incidents that may occur if you travel without adequate insurance. We recommend contacting Jim Best of Best Travel Protection, LLC (jim@besttravelprotection.net) for your insurance needs.
Luggage and Weight Restrictions: When traveling on small charter services, such as between camps, weight restrictions apply on a per-seat basis. Each passenger is limited to 15kg of luggage, including camera equipment and carry-ons. To ensure safety on small aircraft, passengers weighing over 100kg must notify their booking agent in advance, as an additional seat may be required. Please pack your belongings in soft bags, as hard cases are incompatible with our aircraft’s luggage compartments. If your luggage exceeds the weight limit, arrangements can be made to store excess items at your departure point for later retrieval.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change unexpectedly. Should you need to cancel your booking, please note our cancellation policy:
These policies apply regardless of the reason for cancellation, including airline delays or missed connections. To mitigate potential financial loss, we strongly advise securing adequate travel insurance promptly upon booking.
Travel Documents and Precautions: Before you embark on your safari adventure, ensure you have all necessary travel documents, including a valid passport (with at least six months validity beyond your travel dates and sufficient blank visa pages), required visas (apply well in advance if needed), flight tickets, spending money, and a comprehensive insurance policy. If your journey includes regions at risk for malaria, consult your physician to discuss necessary precautions.
Confirmation: All guests are required to agree to and electronically sign Breathe Africa’s T’s & C’s by email on agreement of working together.
